Harmony Safari Quartet Harmony Safari is an all male, four part harmony, A Cappella quartet located in Altoona (Blair County) Pa. Our repertoire consists of 50's, 60's, Doo Wop, Gospel and Barbershop music performed in the A Cappella style that is so popular today. Harmony Safari is a registered quartet with the Barbershop Harmony Society. The music that we sing is 4 - Part A Cappella style. Those four parts are: Bass, Tenor, Baritone and Lead with the Lead singing Melody and the other parts harmonizing. This 4 - part harmony lends itself to many genres of music including (but not limited to) Barbershop, Doo Wop, Gospel and Patriotic. The A Cappella style of singing does not depend on instruments, the voices ARE the instruments. Harmony Safari sings National Anthem |
